PAD PRINTING


What is pad printing?

An etched plate is covered with ink, and then wiped clean, leaving ink in the recessed areas. A silicone pad is then pressed against the plate, pulling the ink out of the recesses, and pressing it directly onto the product. FORMATS SUPPORTED FOR PAD PRINTING:

Preparing of Artwork

    Preparing the artwork in order for it to be used for pad printing:
  • Vector format only
  • Artwork is seperated by solid colours, maximum of 4 colours available

Advantages

  • Can brand uneven / rounded surfaces
  • Quick turn-around time

Limitations

  • 4 Colours maximum, no shading (solid colours only)
  • Small words & fine detail will be shown as solid
  • Only certain items may be branded this way (pens, bottles)
